POWER GENERATION PROJECTS
Under the management of Yavuz Investments team members, large geothermal power plants have been developed in Turkey.
Alasehir Geothermal Power Plant, which was completed with the highest safety measures and without any accidents, is operating with its total installed capacity of 45 MW and produces 315 million kWh per year.

After 30 months of day and night team work and the implementation of the further development of the plant with 650 workers from the drilling of the project to the construction and production, the capacity work continues in every phase
ALASEHIR GEOTHERMAL POWER PLANT (45MW)
KIZILDERE 2 GEOTHERMAL POWER PLANT (80MW)
Under the management of Yavuz Investments team members, large geothermal power plants have been developed in Turkey.

In addition to Turkey’s first geothermal power plant, Kizildere 1 (15 MW), Kizildere 2 was implemented in 2013 with a total investment of $250 million.

Kizildere 2 is Turkey’s largest geothermal power plant and one of the world’s leading integrated geothermal power plants with an installed capacity of 80 MW.

As a sustainable power plant, Kizildere Geothermal Plant invests in the environment and social structure of the region as well as the latest technology.
EXPLORATION OF GEOTHERMAL DEPOSITS
MUTNOVSKAYA GEOTHERMAL FIELD (164MW FIELD CAPACITY)
Under the management of Yavuz Investments team members, the largest Russian geothermal field, Mutnovskaya, has been extensively explored using seismic geophysical technology.

The aim of the geophysical survey was to locate fracture zones and existing faults and, if present, to incorporate them into the technical plans for the field. This is very important information when carrying out exploration drilling for coolant in areas where steam-hydrothermal activity is concentrated
DEVELOPMENT OF GAS FIRED POWER PLANTS
219 MW KOZHUKHOVO GAS FIRED POWER PLANT
Under the management of Yavuz Investments team members, large gas fired power plants have been developed in Moscow, Russia.

The Kozhuhovo gas-fired power plant with an installed capacity of 219 MWwas built to ensure the reliability and satisfaction of new requirements for heat and power supply to industrial and household consumers in the Novokosino district of Moscow in accordance with the investment contract signed between the Moscow Government and Rosmiks LLC.
219 MW TERESHKOVO GAS FIRED POWER PLANT
Under the management of Yavuz Investments team members, large gas fired power plants have been developed in Moscow, Russia.

Tereshkovo GTPP is equipped with the most advanced energy-efficient equipment and designs that allow for further expansion with minimal costs.

The first stageof Tereshkovo GTPP has been designed according to the scheme including three GTUs, three HRSGs for post-combustion, and one STU with two heating steam extractions (outline of 3GTU + 3HRSG + 1STU) with the rated power of 219 MW, efficiency of more than 51%, and specific fuel consumption of 208.9 /kW per hour and 143 Gcal.
MINING PROJECTS
JWANENG DIAMOND MINE IN BOTSWANA
Under the management of Yavuz Investments team members, the world’s largest diamond mines in Botswana have been extensively explored using seismic geophysical technology.

Jwaneng Mine is one of the richest diamond mines in the world. It is the flagship of Debswana mining company – DeBeers joint venture with Botswana government due to substantially higher dollar per carat obtained for its gems. Jwaneng Mine contributes about 60-70% of Debswana’s total revenue. Currently Jwaneng is mining at a depth of 452 metres and is expected to reach 816 metres by 2034.
ORAPA DIAMOND MINE IN BOTSWANA
Under the management of Yavuz Investments team members, the world’s largest diamond mines in Botswana have been extensively explored using seismic geophysical technology.

The Orapa diamond mine is the world’s largest diamond mine by area. Orapa is mining at a depth of 305 meters and is expected to reach 350 meters by 2026.
DURMIN GOLD DEPOSIT
Members of the Yavuz Investments team, as owners of InvestGold, were involved in the exploration, investment attraction and development of the Durmin gold deposit in Russia.

Durmin mine is located in the West Sikhote-Alin volcanic zone within the Oborsk volcano-tectonic structure of trough type, including a number of blocks limited by the flaws CB and C3 of strikes. Deposit is located in one of these blocks in the structure of draw between the two volcanodomelike constructions. On ore-formation type the mine is near-surface volcanogenic, gold-silver.
OIL AND GAS PROJECTS
MERETOYAKHINSKOYE OIL FIELD
Members of the Yavuz Investments team owned and managed the Meretoyakhinskoye oil field in the Nadym district of Tyumen Oblast (Northern Russia).

Since the discovery of the oil deposit, 30 exploration and 20 production wells have been drilled in the Meretoyakhinskaya area. Geological oil reserves - 116,236 million tonnes (843.5 million barrels), recoverable oil reserves - 32,438 million tonnes (236.79 million barrels).
CIFER AND SERED UNDERGROUND GAS STORAGE FACILITIES IN SLOVAKIA
Project Sered and Project Cifer are two independent underground gas storage (UGS) projects in Slovakia, each of them with a size making it the largest UGS projects in Europe. Estimated working gas capacities:

  • Project Sered: to 4,6 billion m3
  • Project Cifer: to 11 billion m

Members of the Yavuz Investments team own and manage a number of underground gas storage facilities in Slovakia and Turkey.
The sites have been researched for long time: seismic measurements, mathematical gas storage modeling and other geological surveys have been carried out (in cooperation with Russian experts VNIGAZ) and have confirmed the sites as ideal for UGS.
